The Staff Secure program, funded by the Nebraska Crime Commission, relies upon highly trained staff who assist juvenile law violators (i.e. shoplifters, vandalism, theft, etc...) status offenders (i.e. runaways, truancy) from Nebraska and other states.   Moreover, it serves as an effective temprary placement which law enforcement, probation and parole officers as well as caseworkers and judges can rely upon when they have a juvenile in their custody.  The length of stay at the program is only short-term, unless other funding is located.
